This is a place where I have been dreaming of going since last year. After a LONG thought, I decided to get a last minute ticket to Medan to join my girlfriends for a 4 days 3 nights trip. Welcome a new year and a new me with full of new resolutions! May all the people in the world live peacefully and be happy always. Muaaahhh!
There are just too many things out there in the world to be missed. I am ready anytime to go and explore!

Arguments - Good or Bad?
The definitions of an argument in the dictionary are:
1. an oral disagreement; verbal opposition; contention; altercation.
2. a discussion involving differing points of view; debate.
3. a process of reasoning; series of reasons.
4. a statement, reason, or fact for or against a point.
5. an address or composition intended to convince or persuade; persuasive discourse.
When you are in a relationship, an argument is always the definition of number 1 which will lead to a violent conversation and this will hurt both parties eventually. But in my point of view, there are advantages and disadvantages in arguments.
Advantages: Gain more knowledge
Get to know what is in the other's head
Learn from each other
See more clearly other's different point of view
Disadvantages: Some people get offended if their view is challenged
They can quickly escalate into something fierce if misunderstood
Some people are ignorant and that can upset the partner or others.
Well, it happened to me today on the this special Christmas Day 2011. Don't let this happen to you and talk nicely. It has definitely spoilt my day...

Sasa Ladies' Day
SASA Fashion on The Turf Day
On the 27th November 2011, me and a few other fellow bloggers attended the Ladies' Day organised by Sasa. It was a great outing for us ladies!
Sasa also had a Beauty Package which a person paid RM50 and got a makeover, a professional photoshoot, an express manicure session and also a RM30 cash voucher. That was worth to pay RM50.
To end this eventful day, we all bought a ticket betting on the horse with the RM10 voucher sponsored by Sasa.
Guess what!! Jess's horse ran second and she won herself RM15 but the horse I bet on was first but I won only RM10. Why? I still can't work it out... Strange (scratching my head )

Long Distance Relationship
I believe many people nowadays are in a long distance relationship ( LDR ) and all these are the direct contribution of the invention of aeroplane and internet. Before the popularity of internet dating, lovers used to communicate a lot using telephone and they would talk for ages or corresponded via mails. Now, with the advent of the internet, LDR has exploded in popularity because it is now easier to be sustained. But what are the disadvantages and advantages to be in a LDR?
Trust is very important in maintaining a relationship but how many couples succeeded in establishing it? Mine did not survive and it lasted for 6 years before everything fell apart because trust was just not there and it just happened. Compromising on a commitment is important and holding on to the promises matters a lot too. I take my relationship seriously and I hoped my 'man' appreciate me.
On the other hand, distance is not the end of the end of the world in a relationship. Both parties have to work hard to make LDR work. It's hard enough to keep a relatively close distance relationship work , never mind a long one.It is an understandably difficult commitment to honor if you and your sweetheart decide to keep the relationship going while you are apart. Difficult but not impossible. My failure doesn't mean I won't try again but it means that I just have to work harder.

Tourism Selangor - Pulau Ketam
Thank you Tourism Selangor for taking us to Pulau Ketam for a day trip. This is how it went.
The journey only took about 25 minutes and it was a pleasant ride. It's easy to get there. Take KTM to Klang and the port is right opposite the station.
There are 3 modes of transportation available on this island - by foot, by bicycle , by small moppet.
I chose bicycle of course but some others preferred to walk as they could see the surrounding clearer. It cost RM5 per bike per day.
The locals make a living by selling local products to the tourists who visit the island daily. The 'lollipop' above are known as '麦芽糖' or maltose in English. Taste super nice and SWEET! Available in various flavour too.
There are a kindergarten, a primary school and a secondary school on this island. The population here has increased over the year and there are about 6,000+ people who are still living here.
One might not bring enough money when they are out but do not worry as there is bank right in the centre of the island. Well done Maybank!
There are many temples in Pulau Ketam but this one I went to is well known for keeping a big python and a few huge terrapin. I didn't manage to capture the python as it was hiding under the water. The renovation which was going on didn't help either so I just took this. According to the locals, if you are lucky you might be able to see a few number on the shells. I didn't.
Food that you must try. I can't remember the name of this shop but I think it's the only one serving ‘面粉根’.Well, it not Pulau Ketam for nothing. Ketam = Crabs. Now you see?
So yummylicious!

Incredible India Adventure - Dhobi Ghat
Dhobi Ghat is a famous place in Mumbai, India. It is well-known for its open air laundromat where all most of the hotels and hospitals send their clothes or blankets to be washed. I think it's the biggest outdoor laundry in the world. It is not an attraction but I think it's worthwhile to go and have a look at this amazing manual 'washing machinary'.
Each of the washers has their own washing pen. India is not a clean country but their clothes are surprisingly white and clean!
Incredible India Adventure - India Gate
After travelling around New Delhi for almost the whole day, we decided to go to our last destination - India Gate Delhi.
Upon reaching, we were so surprised to see a man running across a river! After observing for a while, it's not a river!
Makan jagung lor....According to the locals, they taste good but I did not try. Welcome to tell me the taste if any of you guys have tried.
After coming out from the 'LRT', walk straight and will come to a junction like this. Turn left and you'll the India Gate but it's very very far to walk there. Probably a 2 kilometres walk.
Beautiful night view with beautiful lighting .It looks a lot like the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. It is a memorial of 90,000 soldiers who had sacrificed themselves in order to protect their country. Salute!
