Kaikoura is a famous place at the north of South Island in New Zealand for whale and dolphin watching. The little view of the coast behind me is the Kaikoura seaside. There are two means of transport to take you for the watching - by light aircraft and by a ferry.I was there for another reason though. I went there to watch pilots and their lovely aircrafts. It was the Alpine Area Rally and I was there for a couple of nights. This is the sight of the airfield. And this is where the plane will take off if you plan to go whale watching by air.
All the aircrafts were lining up and the pilots were getting ready for their performances. Beautiful babies, aren't they?
